Dan and Dundeen were both born and raised in New York City. It was in New York that they were married sixty-two years ago and had three sons. Two of their sons, Dan and Blake, now live in Boulder, and their youngest son, Todd, lives in Alexandria, Virginia. Along the way, Dan and Dundeen resided in Westchester County, north of New York, and in Cambridge, Massuchusetts and Nantucket, Massachusetts. They also spent many a winter in San Francisco near Dundeen’s sister. Twenty-five years ago, they took an apartment in Boulder after the arrival of the first of five grandchildren, who are now mostly spread around the United States working and in school. Dan was a book editor, student of history, and lover of sailing. Dundeen was a longtime educator of young children but not much of a fan of sailing! Both are very much looking forward to joining the Academy University Hill community and patiently learning the ropes! Welcome Dan and Dundeen!
